Worker safety is an inalienable premise for XEAL.

The company is fully committed to the safety and health of people in the performance of their jobs.

The two activities carried out by the company may pose a risk to people's physical integrity, so the company's primary objective is to minimize the number of accidents, with special attention to reducing serious accidents as much as possible.

To try to achieve this goal XEAL is investing in the training of its personnel training in the design of action protocols that allow reduce the risk of accidents at work, as well as prevent them and in new procedures and modes of operation. The aim is to reduce the exposure of people to high-risk activities.

The objective of XEAL is to have the best qualified professionals and to continue the trend to reach zero accident rate.

Environmental and environmental sustainability

The care of the environment and the compliance with environmental regulatory requirements are two of the are two of the main pillars of XEAL's performance.

XEAL is fortunate to carry out part of its activities in a stunning natural environment. 

One of the company's strategic objectives, to which its management team and staff are fully committed, is full compliance with best practices and to anticipate regulatory requirements (local, regional, national and EU) in environmental matters.

In this regard, the company has all the environmental authorizations and requirements that certify that the company's activity is sustainable and environmentally friendly.

It's commitment to the environment has led it to allocate resources and efforts to training and raising awareness among its staff, as well as to the renovation of facilities and the implementation of new technologies to minimize the environmental impact of each of its activities.

This is a key issue as our assets, together with our human capital, form the backbone of the Company's activities.

XEAL has implemented at all organizational levels a culture of management and operation oriented towards asset maintenance to extend the life of assets and achieve greater greater sustainability in the mid and long term.

The fundamental pillars of this new culture include the following:

  • Continuous monitoring of assets.
  • Transition from a corrective maintenance policy to a new paradigm of preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Implementation of modern computer systems, to assist in the systematization of all maintenance-related tasks.

Efficiency must be pursued at all levels of the organization and, for this reason,four basic objectives have been established to promote sustainability and competitiveness:

  • Optimization of energy efficiency, both in terms of consumption and production.
  • Maximizing productivity.
  • Flexibility in all the industrial assets that make up the company, in order to be able to adapt to the needs and opportunities that arise in the different markets in which we operate.

The company's activities are global and, therefore, their sustainability is subject to uncertainties beyond its control (e.g., raw material prices or fuel prices that determine electricity prices).

It is absolutely necessary for the company to be increasingly efficient in order to be prepared for the challenges that arise at all times, which requires adapting its activity and structure to the needs of each moment, especially taking into account new technologies.
