Cee, June 11, 2024 - XEAL the 30th anniversary of its first AENOR certification. This morning, AENOR's director for the Atlantic Region, Martín Pita, presented María Couto, XEAL's CEO, with an award to commemorate this anniversary.
The first certificate obtained by XEAL was the ISO 9001 standard. Since then, the certification has been renewed annually and has subsequently been extended to other corporate management areas.
Over the years, certification has evolved into an integral part of XEAL's management system, a systematized way of working that seeks continuous improvement, sustainability, protection for the environment and, of course, our employees' health and safety. This has allowed XEAL to innovate and become a benchmark for the last 30 years.
For María Couto, XEAL's CEO, "today we want to highlight XEAL's commitment to the continuous improvement of our processes, resource management, environmental care, optimized energy consumption, and of course, the management of our workers' health and safety; in short, applying efficiency and innovation to become a benchmark for the sectors we operate in. For the last 30 years, we have worked hand-in-hand with AENOR to introduce continuing improvements in all these areas and will continue to do so, because we believe that our future depends on this joint collaboration.
In turn, AENOR's director for the Atlantic region, Martín Pita, highlighted the driving role that the company has played in the Galician economic fabric, as it was one of the first organizations to commit to the certification of its processes. "XEAL is an excellent example that commitment to best practices is a path of no return where continuous improvement is crucial. At AENOR we have been exceptional witnesses of how the organization has faced major challenges, such as sustainability in its environmental and social aspects. This allows us to lay solid foundation and continue advancing towards decarbonization, digitalization and good governance".
