Cee, DECEMBER 18, 2020.- The municipalities of Cee and Dumbría, as well as the non-profit organizations Red Cross and Caritas, have joined the solidarity initiative launched by XEAL, Xallas Electricidad y Aleaciones, "SMILE FOR CHRISTMAS", to ensure that children from families at risk of exclusion receive a gift at this very special time of year for the youngest members of the household.

The donation has been made in the form of redeemable vouchers, to the City Councils of Cee and Dumbría, and to the non-profit associations Red Cross and Caritas, which will be in charge of distributing them. The vouchers can be redeemed in more than 60 establishments on A Costa da Morte.

The Company's CEO, María Couto, visited the premises of the NGOs and the social services of both Town Councils to hand over the vouchers in person and to gain a first-hand insight into the work they each carry out in the region.

With this new solidarity campaign, the company aims to help the children of the most vulnerable families and promote the values of solidarity and hope in our environment that are particularly important during the festive season.

María Couto, Xeal's CEO, commented that "our intention is to continue collaborating to help alleviate the negative economic and social effects that the pandemic has generated in many families in the Costa da Morte area". She also expressed her satisfaction with the Christmas solidarity campaign, which is centered on children.
