• The company, which operates in traditionally male-dominated sectors, is firmly committed to attracting and retaining female talent and promoting STEM vocations among women.

Cee, March 7, 2024 - Equal opportunities in the work environment and conciliation are the backbone of the people management policy developed by XEAL. During Women's Week, the company wants to highlight the work of the women who are part of the team.

The company, which operates in traditionally male-dominated sectors, is firmly committed to attracting and retaining female talent and to promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) vocations among women.

XEAL has women in positions of responsibility. This is the case of Adriana Trillo, assistant to the Operations Management of the Energy division; Diana Touriñán, responsible for Logistics, raw material purchases and finished product sales of the ferroalloy plants, or Esperanza Castro, head of Human Resources, who have opted to develop their careers in Cee and Dumbría, but these are not the only examples.

María Couto, XEAL's CEO, stated "We are committed to our ESG criteria and having more and more women who can acquire positions of responsibility in the company is part of this. Change therefore has to come from early training that fosters these vocations and contributes to raising awareness of equal opportunities".
