Xallas Electricidad y Aleaciones, XEAL, is a company located in the northwest of Spain, on the Costa da Morte, in the province of A Coruña, which manages and operates two ferroalloy factories located in the municipalities of Cee and Dumbría, separated by a distance of 10 km.

It has an annual production capacity of 189,000 tons, plus 17,000 tons of microsilica and 7,000 tons of pulp.

Cee Factory

The Cee factory, the oldest, is the head of the industrial complex and is located 95 km from A Coruña and 75 km from Santiago de Compostela.

This plant borders the port of Cee-Brens, which belongs to the Autonomous Community of Galicia, which receives large amounts of raw materials and final products are shipped to customers.

Dumbría Factory

XEAL also manages ten hydroelectric plants, 9 located in the Xallas river basin(municipality of Dumbría), 3 of them newly built, and the tenth, in the Grande river basin (municipality of Vimianzo).

These ten mini-hydro plants have a total installed capacity of 167 megawatts (MW) .

XEAL currently employs almost  300 people.
