Xallas Electricidad y Aleaciones, XEAL, reactivated Furnace 22 in Dumbría at the beginning of February to expand the capacity to manufacture ferrosilicon, due to the increase in market demand for this alloy.

Xallas Electricidad y Aleaciones, XEAL will implement a 28-million euro investment plan between 2020 and 2024, allocating 14 million to the company's two divisions, ferroalloys and energy.
