Xeal has approved a reserve in the 2022 budget  for the creation of the Xeal Scholarships, corresponding to the 2021-2022 academic year.

With this initiative, the company aims to continue its ongoing commitment to all areas related to ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) criteria, its corporate social responsibility and the future of the area, which undoubtedly includes the training of its employees and their families. For this reason, the company decided to create the Xeal Scholarships.

These scholarships are intended for all employees who are currently studying, as well as their children of school age.

As part of its firm commitment to training, Xeal has signed training collaboration agreements for the year 2021 with the Fernando Blanco High School, the University of A Coruña (UDC) and the University of Vigo (UVigo). One student from the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) and 3 from the Fernando Blanco High School are currently undertaking internships at Xeal.

Xeal also signed an agreement with the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education and Universities for the implementation of a dual vocational training system at the Fernando Blanco High School for a vocational course leading to a qualification Automation and Industrial Robotics. The teaching phase, which has already begun, will end on August 31, 2023. As of April 2022, Xeal will provide training for a total of 8 students on this course.

María Couto, XEAL's CEO explained that "it is necessary to collaborate in the practical training of the next generations that will be joining the labor market, which is why it is essential to sign collaboration agreements with different educational centre and to contribute financially to cover part of the cost of the studies".
