XEAL awards the prizes for the II Christmas Card Competition for employees' children.

Xeal, Xallas Electricidad y Aleaciones, presents the prizes for its "Second Christmas Card Competition, Xeal 2021", open to employees' children and grandchildren aged between 4 and 10 years. A total of16 boys and girls participated in the two categories: A for children from 4 to 7 years old, and B, from 8 to 10 years old.

The competition was held to promote values of solidarity and hope traditionall associated with the festive season. Xeal organized the competition so that no child came away empyt-handed. 

The participants opted for a first prize, two second and two third prizes for each of the categories, and fourth prizes for the remaining entrants; in other words, a total of 16 prizes and 16 diplomas were handed out.

The original idea of the Company was to organize a fun event with the children and their families to distribute the prizes and share some time together, but unfortunately, like last year, the current situation of COVID and its omicron variant meant that the decision was made to hold an online event for all participants.

This did not prevent those participants who so wished from coming to the factory to personally collect their diplomas and prizes.

The prizes were handed out at an online event by CEO María Couto, together with the Head of Human Resources, Esperanza Castro. They took the opportunity to spend some fun time with all the participants and were able to congratulate them and present them with their gifts and diplomas virtually.
